When creating a new sequence and importing multiple clips, it puts all of the clips on one row, 1 after the other. I want to import each clip onto a separate video track. I've looked online but I haven't figured out how to do this yet? Suggestions?

[Roger Alexander] "I want to import each clip onto a separate video track."

Why? What are you trying to do?

[Roger Alexander] "Suggestions?"

Select all clips in the project panel - right click - create multi-camera source sequence - synchronize by in point. Then you'll have a multicam sequence where every clip is on top of another from the start of the clip.

Or did you mean that you would like the clips back to back on different tracks?

I saw that option but I thought it would send me to a different type of multicam editing mode so i skipped over it. I will try that when i get home from work.

I shoot and edit music videos, so I sync up all of my takes on different tracks with the audio file of the song. Then on each track I select the "best" clips from that take.
