Lets say I have 3 audio edits and I have a 2 frame dissolve between each.

If I replace the second edit with a new source but keep in and out points the same my dissolves are cut out.

Please tell me that there is a way to keep transitions when source is replaced.

Eric

Many thanks.

You can Option drag replace the clip... which might work under some conditions...

but I concur it appears that replacing with a 3 point edit will remove the existing transitions.

frustrating....

transitions should only be removed if there is not enough media in the source to handle the transition...

I JUST FOUND A WAY ! Highlight the edit you want to replace, right click and select replace then select from bin - that would be the source bin. Transitions stay there !

Many thanks.
