I'm still getting feet wet on Pr. Pro 2015 from Avid and need quick suggestion.

In the effects selection is there a one stop shop where I can edit a photo to video track 2, scale that shot to 50%, crop if needed and add a boarder. In Avid the effect called BLEND and I can do all that stuff within 1 effect set up.

Is there something similar in Power Point 2015.

Many thanks

Many thanks.

Just drag image or video from project window and place in other timeline. Then alter size of image on monitor. Simple.

Click on in-bedded link or un titled for image of PP Screen dump , shows picture in picture

Timeline Video 1 Original background
Timeline Video 2 Title

Just grab the white safety lines and adjust as required in monitor window.

You may need to render see red line, this is Adobe Premiere Pro CS 5.5.2

It may be easier to add a border in Photoshop ?

Good morning Bob.

Because my secondary pictures will be video in motion I was hoping to use an effect in Premiere Pro. With Avid I select one effect and I can change size, move the shot around and add many kinds of boarders.

Many thanks.

Well,

You can do the same thing except it is video make sure you do not lose the audio.

Drop the video on Video 2, it will open in the monitor, just use the white lines and adjust the size over the original background .

The lines may have been lost , so you will need to get to the edge of the video to adjust, good luck.

Or try Ann Bens on Adobe Premiere Forums Web Site, she is very good at that sort of thing.

Ps. I know nothing about Avid but, have seen it used by professional producers , they also use CS 6, if you use the right codec you may be able to drop in an edit from Avid into your Premiere Pro timeline , as Pro can do that ?Sony Vegas Pro or Movie Maker can.
