Just upgraded to Premiere CC2015 last night and I have a question related to how Premiere renders out "precomputes" (vocab from the past) when an adjustment layer is used on top of an entire program.
It suits my workflow on a lot of projects to use an adjustment layer across the entire show for graphic bugs, slight rec709 color correction on fast projects, etc. but here's my question: does the software prefer to render adjustment layers on top of individual clips or across entire programs?
Follow up question: does premiere make individual render files per clip under adjustment layers or does it make a single 'render file' for the whole 4 minute program?
If it suits premiere to render faster, individual clips with adjustment layers on top then I'll start adding cuts in all my adjustment layers so the software only has to render individual render files, but if not then I'll just continue rendering one, single, enormous render file of my full length program...
Thanks in advance for any insights everyone.
