Hi I got footages shot with dnxhd 220mbs 10bit s-log 24fps (according to DP)
But when I import them to Premiere Pro CC,and checked property, it's show me that clip codec is DNxHD compression ID 1241 upported frame rate 23.976 fps.
Legal frame rates for this compression ID are:
25 fps (1080i/25 DNxHD 185 10-bit)
So i'm confuse what is right sequence setting for this clips?
seem like DNxHD 175 10-bit codec is only choice but is it correct?
and also DP said they shot with 24fps but it's change to 23.976 in Premiere Pro CC do you know why or I just got wrong information?
hope some one can teach me the pipeline to deliver this clip as good as possible to color correction.
But looks like the camera that DP used can make this kind of strange settings...
So most likely reason why Premiere Pro CC2014 can't make right sequence setting is mixed with wrong setting.
So, setting camera to dnxhd 220mbs 10bit. 24fps is might get high quality in production but adding so many wrong information to data and in the end I have to change codec and render out to finish it.
for me if they shoot with dnxhd 175mbs 10bit. 24fps then I could get correct setting in Premiere Pro CC2014 .
