Just wanted to see if this was possible...

I synced and made a timeline for my director today. Took a load of time, and I read earlier that all I had to do was export a .xml (on adobe's website). Now I read that cs6 will only read a .xml file if it was exported from Final Cut.

So many mixed remarks out there. I just want to be able to give my director a proper answer...Is upgrading to CC2014 our only option?

The XML will work. If your edit used features only found on CC they won't come through.

Do you have a list of those features?

The error message cs6 is giving us is... "This project contains a sequence that could not be opened. No sequence preview present file or codec could be associated with this sequences type."

"It's not where you take things from, it's where you take them to."
