aaf-import of DNxHD from avid -> sound problems

Hey! I got a problem.
We recorded some footage (video+audio) on a SoundDevices Pix 240t as 10bit DNxHD and cut it in Avid. Now I'd like to move on to Premiere Pro CC 2014 for post production. I exported an aaf-file from avid (only file link for video and audio), imported it in Premiere and re-linked the files. Video is working fine so far, but I'm having problems with the audio track.
Most clips are displayed to have an empty audio track in Premiere, VLC won't play audio as well, but quicktime player does.
However, some clips do have an intact audio track, even in Premiere. They were recorded exatcly the same way. I don't have a clue yet what's special about them.
I have DNxHD codecs and quicktime installed.
Any ideas where st start searching for mistakes? Did I forget to install an important codec? Anything special to consider while exporting or importing?
Thanks a lot, guys!
