Hello,

I have just exported a H.264 .mp4, and I am having trouble putting it through MPEG Streamclip. I get the same error message every time:

"error reading movie file"

Anybody else having this problem?

Thanks

M

Why are you putting a h.264 file through MPEG Streamclip? What format are you trying to generate?

Anything you're trying to do with Streamclip you can do from within PPro or by queuing to Adobe Media Encoder.

Hi Ryan,

Thank you for your reply,

I just want to know in case I ever need to, for example CC might not be available to me for whatever reason and I would need to encode via MPEG Streamclip.

Thanks

M

Are you on a Mac? Beginning with Mavericks, you need to use the Beta Version of MPEG streamclip to get it to work. The standard version doesn't work.
