I was wondering what the difference was between:
1) right-clicking on each clip on a timeline and de-interlacing
2) setting the sequence setting to progressive rather than upper field?

Also, is there a way of right-clicking multiple clips at once to de-interlace? Or is that done via nesting?

Select all your source clips in the bin and right click->Modify->Interpret settings and adjust there.

Would nesting my sequence and changing the field order of the nested sequence do the same thing?
