Shaky Footage: Warp Stablizer Won't Work for This!

Okay guys, there may be no solution to this problem, but I'm hoping there may be something to help me out a little. I'm all new to the DSLRs and haven't completely mastered the technique yet, therefore, many of my clips are way shakier than I'd like for them to be.

The shots that aren't panning around I can fix with warp stabilizer, but where I have a panning shot that is shaky - well, that just doesn't work.... so... I'm hoping someone here may have a trick up their sleeve they might share. I have tried working with the motion effects, and keyframes, which helped just a little - but other than this, IS there anything else I can do in post?

Hopefully soon, I'll have some decent stabilization equipment!

You can fine tune After Effects' Warp Stabiliser VFX effect but the Premiere version doesn't have that. Also if you have super shaky stuff with motion blur it just might be impossible to stabilize.

You might want to give Core Melt's Lock & Load plug-in a try. I find it gives excellent results and is well worth the (low) price. Warp Stabilizer is great but I think Lock & Load is even better. Download the free trial and check it out:

This looks awesome, and looking at their example of what it can fix, it appears that this would be just exactly what I need... however.. it is only for Macs, and alas, I'm on a pc. :( I'm going to search for something along these lines that will work on a pc... Windows 7 - and at the same time, check out the after effects warp stabilizer. Thanks for the advice!!

The Warp Stabilizer can do wonders, it cannot perform a miracle.
In other words not all clips are suited for stabilization.
Panning and shaking, I think that is a bit to much...

I've found Mercalli (ProDad) to save my butt on many occasions. I THINK it's way more powerful than warp. Also, if you change the speed of the clip, then warp won't work but Mercalli will. There's a free way to try it out - with a logo on your sample.
