change color of clip on timeline..

Hey peeps, in premiere pro cs2 (or cs3 or cs4 for that matter) is there a way to change the color the the clips on the timeline, kind of like how you change the color of layers on a timeline in AFX. (i'm not talking about color correcting the actual clips, i'm talking about their representations in the actual sequence)

thanks!
Chad

You can only change the default color of a type of file using the label preference.

FWIW (very old thread, but what I was looking for!), you can change a clip color by selecting the clip and then going to Edit>Label>Color. There are eight colors to choose from.
