Hi all,
If you are using Blackmagic RAW with Premiere Pro and they are 23.976 / 29.97 fps you will get wrong timecode due to an Adobe bug. So you will get a wrong FCP .XML timeline export from Premiere Pro and other softwares (like DaVinci Resolve) won't be able to import it correctly. We have a new solution in our BRAW Studio Panel to automatically export and correct the .XML containing .BRAW ! Check it out here : https://www.autokroma.com/blog/BRAW-Studio-Export-XML-DaVinci-Resolve/

Hi Oliver,

We're not sure if it's a bug or a different way of interpreting .MOV timecodes that is not standard and up to the NLE but what we're sure of is that Adobe is doing something different than most other NLEs out there when interpreting timecodes / framerate tracks of .BRAW (which are based on .MOV). Basically there's a little metadata flag to change if we would like to get rid of what appears to us like a bug, but that would require changing the .BRAW file content.

More info about the Adobe "bug" / behavior here : https://www.autokroma.com/blog/BRAW-Wrong-Timecode-Adobe-Premiere-Pro/
