Multicam Sequences with multiple audio tracks downmixed to Stereo
on Sep 6, 2019 at 5:14:39 pm

Hi! Been stumped with this for a few days now, hope someone can shed some light...

I have been delivered hours of footage synched in multicam sequences in Premiere. Each multicam clip contains 2 cameras, and 1 external audio clip with several tracks (between 4-8 tracks). The synch works fine...except when I drag my multicam clip in an editing timeline, all the audio ends up being downmixed in stereo to the first 2 tracks.

The number of audio tracks matches the source, but only the first 2 tracks are used, the rest being empty and silent. I have toyed with every setting I know relating to this (Modify Audio Channels, Audio Track Mixer, Clip Mixer etc.), but cannot find any way to make it so that every audio track from the source file is accessible in the multicam clip.

Attached are two screenshots to clarify the situation.
Any help will be appreciated, thank you!
