Ripple Training for 15

Ripple Training has three new titles on Resolve 15, basically a "what's new in 15," deep color correction, and Resolve 15 "101."

I'd appreciate advice as to which would be the most appropriate for me. I've been editing on Resolve 14 for a couple of months now, and plan to switch to 15 during the holidays. I have the basics of editing and finishing down, but I need a lot of help with Fairlight, Color, and Fusion.

Thank you.

I've picked up some tips and tricks from these YouTubers, particularly Fusion which I was struggling a bit with.

They also have presets and templates for sale, especially Fusion titles.

I think there will also be forthcoming Ripple titles covering Editing and fusion.

Other good sources for training are FXPHD and Mixing Light:

I have been using Resolve for color grading for two years and only switched to using resolve for my editing workflow, earlier this year. I have never looked back and I use resolve for everything (almost...just need to get up to speed on fusion!). So mostly self taught, however, I recently purchased both the Resolve Editing and Colour Grading training modules from Ripple Training and have found their style and pace fit perfectly.

What I really like are those extra bits, the little gems, that you learn and I have found it fills those gaps in my knowledge. Training is a fickle thing though. It depends on what you know, what you expect, and whether you gel with the trainer's style. I found the ripple training excellent and I look forward to future modules on fusion and also fairlight. The great thing about ripple training is that you can watch a few parts for free to get a feel for the level and whether you gel with the trainer. Furthermore, I started with their youtube videos which are really useful.

Another great resource (and one that I started with), although Version 12, is goats eye view
