Optimizing Color Anaglyphs

Hi all,

I found this two pages and they go into detail about how to optimized anaglyph images in order to mitigate retinal as much as possible.

And then there is this page where a poster details a step by step process in Photoshop:

In Photoshop, to apply the Optimized Anaglyph method described in the article to which you refer, you would need to do the following:

Channel Mixer - Left Chip:
* Red Output Channel: Red - 0%, Green - 70%, Blue - 30%
* Green Output Channel: Red - 0%, Green - 0%, Blue - 0%
* Blue Output Channel: Red - 0%, Green - 0%, Blue - 0%

Channel Mixer - Right Chip:
* Red Output Channel: Red - 0%, Green - 0%, Blue - 0%
* Green Output Channel: Red - 0%, Green - 100%, Blue - 0%
* Blue Output Channel: Red - 0%, Green - 0%, Blue - 100%

Paste the Left Red Channel into the Right Red Channel, then:

Levels Adjustment (Red Channel):
* Input: 0 | 1.5 | 255
* Output: 0 | 255

The last two parts are the ones I am not sure about, how do you copy the red channel value from on layer to the next?
