Pixel Format settings for Vegas 10 HD project

Hi all,

I need to know what is the correct setting for an HD project in Vegas 10 with the properties HDV-1080-60i. Should the pixel format be 8 bit, 32 bit floating point (video levels), or 32 bit floating point (full range)? I'm not sure if it matters in the overall quality. I have edited a wedding previously and did not notice the setting and it was edited at 8 bit.

I am using a pretty basic HD camera the Sony HXR-MC2000U.

Thanks for any assistance.

You should keep it set to the default which is 8-bit unless you are working with 10-bit video (which you are not). 32-buit cause a multitude of problems so only use it if you know what you are doing and really need it.
