I have a RAID 0 for my projects that I swap between XP, Vista, and Windows 7 triple-boot and I don't have any problems at all. I'm just using the RAID controller that's built into my Intel motherboard.

What RAID controller are you using? How did you set up the RAID (via the controller software or within Windows)

I am using the windows raid out of computer management - I don't know how to setup a controller software - I am willing to buy a card if I need to?

That's your problem right there. That's proprietary Windows striping which is particular to the OS.

No need to buy a card. Just use the RAID controller on you motherboard. You'll need to read the motherboard manual to find out how.

Usually when your computer boots you'll see a screen when the RAID controller initializes and it will say something like "Press Ctrl+I to configure" and at that moment you must press the key sequence to start the configuration program. This is done before an OS boots which is why it works across all OS's.
