Yeah, that’s called MUD. I’d be reaching for my Rx Audio repairs. You might find a freebie De-Mudder SFX.

I use freebie Audacity; really excellent particularly in my case for noise reduction after mic recordings.

hi to all,

at least a question that i can give some help !

sharpen sound ?

the term is wrong.., i think you mean how to edit further your sound

for dialogues and voice overs you can edited even further by compression, equalizing (parametric equalizer), tube satration for some analog like saturated sound

if you don't know much about sound edit ''don't worry''

there is a solution !

simply rendered your video as ''wave'' file - better as wave @ 24 bits 44.1 khz (through vegas rendering options)

search through net ''bandlab free online mastering''

upload your wave file and check the results...

then download your mastered wave file and open it through vegas

possibly, the results will be very satisfied...

there so many free online mastering service through net

this is the simplest way to have a decent sound without entering the edit process

good luck

Hi Sergey

It can be done within Vegas. If it were me, I would go with Track Noise Gate, Track EQ and Track Compressor in Audio Track FX. Granted, it helps when you know what everything does. This is 25% science, 70% art and 5% luck (all debatable)
If you're looking for a ready made all purpose plug-in, there are some already there. Find one close to what you want and then tweak it .

Every audio tracks have their own quirks. Question is, does it sound right for the purpose. (no pun intended)

Cheers !
