I am a After Effects novice trying to make a motion graphics template to use in Premiere Pro. I have a text box with 5 bullet points that I want to control when they appear with sliders so I can drop it into a sequence and adjust timing of each bullet point to match the guy on camera. I can make sliders that affect the opacity but I can't seem to keyframe this. I thought I could just subtract the time from the end of the comp but that is stumping me. Any pros out there have any ideas?
I'm not sure what you are trying to achieve, but...If you are trying to alter the starting point of the opacity. They you want to play with time as an expression. So the below allows you to define start time and it will animate over 1 second from 0-100.
t = thisComp.layer("White Solid 3").effect("Slider Control")("Slider");
linear(time,t,t + 1,0,100);
Hi- Thanks for the reply. I will give this a try! I am just trying to make bullet points appear on audio cues. I thought it would be easier to have sliders to affect the timing of each bullet point dissolving in instead of doing an edit at each point.
