All characters in the text in one position
on Jan 16, 2020 at 7:50:43 am

Greetings to all my friends.
I have been trying to find this all over the internet but no luck so far.

Is there a way with expressions to arrange all the letters in the text in one position. I.e. the characters must be superimposed on each other, as a result of which the entire text will occupy the size of one character.
This is for a tool kit, so character tracking in this case is not suitable, because when changing the font, this parameter will have to be changed.

I hope I explained clearly)
Thank you for your time and assistance.

Best wishes
Igor

Unfortunately, I did not find a way to do this using expressions. But fortunately there is an easy way to do this: make the text vertical, add a tracking animator, and set the value tracking amount = -60. Now, regardless of the font, this value (-60) will give one result - all characters will be located one after the other.
Then you can animate, for example, the appearance of each character from the center, which is what I need in my case.
Perhaps it will be useful to someone.

Best wishes
Igor
