Pinning one end of a sine wave to a specific point and not the other

I'm working on an animation for an acoustics project I'm working on and I need to pin one side of a side wave animation and not the other. The typical waveform pinning doesn't work for me because it changes the amplitude of the wave near the pin and I need it to be uniform through out. I watched the following tutorial using the method starting at 13:00 -

. I need the parts of the sine wave circle in red to be pinned to the blue cross, but not the points on the left which are oscillating up and down - https://imgur.com/nCykInX

I really appreciate any help i can get! Thanks so much!

S=effect("Speed")("Slider");
A=effect("Amp")("Slider");
F=effect("Freq")("Slider")/3.6;
R=effect("Resolution")("Slider");
W=effect("Width")("Slider")

P=[];

for (i=0;i<R;i++){
P.push([W/R*i,Math.sin(time*S+i/(R/F))*A]);}

createPath(P,[],[], false)
