Text Alignment

Hey everyone. I have a question. I will try to explain the best I can. I am working on making a template and there is a lot of text placeholders within the template. Is there a way I can link some expressions to a text layer to keep it the word(s) aligned at a certain position? When I change the text to be a smaller word I have to constantly readjust and realign the text at a specific starting position. Is there a way I can keep the text aligned at a specific spot regardless if more or less letters are changed? I want to keep the end of the word aligned at the edge of a matte layer, so when I animate the text it wipes on the screen left to right behind a rectangle matte layer.

Hey Dustin, explore how sourceRectAtTime() expression works and it will answer all the questions. You need to set anchor point of text layer to match your source appearance direction, and link mattes layer to texts source.
