I have a solid layer as a background and a text layer. I got a checkbox on a null layer that enables or disables the background layer.
This is expression I wrote on the opacity property of the solid layer:
if (thisComp.layer("Controls").effect("White BG")("Checkbox") == 0) 100 else 0;
That all works fine but I want the text color to change to white when the background layer is disabled.
Are there any ways of achieving this with the same checkbox?

One of he simplest ways is to add a tint effect to color the text white and use the same expression to control the effect amount.
