Increment opacity based op group index in shape layer
on Feb 9, 2018 at 11:23:14 am

Hi there!

I want to make use of an expression that basically creates an interpolation of opacity from 100 - 0 between groups inside a shape layer. I currently have one shape layer, that contains 169 group layers. Group 1 needs to have a opacity of 0, and the last group layer should have a opacity of 100.

Basically each layer should have an incremental opacity of 0,5917159763 (100/169).

My guess would be that an expression could solve this easily, but I have no clue how. Could someone help me with this?

Thanks in advance!

I'd try something like this:

numProps = thisProperty.propertyGroup(3).numProperties;
idx = thisProperty.propertyGroup(2).propertyIndex;
linear(idx,1,numProps,0,100)
