add expression to single keyframe

Hi there,

I'm creating a camera move into a world map and need to zoom into a specific position on that map.

I want to set it up that so the client can simply move a null (xyz) or object on the map that sets the location where the camera move ends.

So essentially I was going to create a separate null that the client can move on the map and that will indicate the final location but if I pickwhip the position to the null it will affect both (start and end) keyframes. Is there any way of writing an expression for the second keyframe only without affecting the opening keyframe?

I hope this makes sense.

Thanks.

It depends on what you're animating, but something like this might work:

p = thisComp.layer("target").position;
v1 = key(1).value;
v2 = key(2).value;
linear(value[2],v1[2],v2[2],v1,p);
