I'm trying to rig a character in After effects with just path layers and thick strokes on them, but there is this problem: If I bend the torso, the arms and legs won't follow. So I tried to parent things to the path of the torso (which is just two points with bezier handles), but After Effects doesn't seem to let me.
Are there any ways to do this? The thing is basically: Parenting a null object to the ending point of a path. That point doesn't have to move, only rotate with the bezier handles.
I already figured out that it would be possible to parent a mask to the path, and let some text follow that mask. So if I could parent a null object to one of the letters and its individual rotation I achieve my goal too.
