Rotation Bounce based on position movement

Hi Everyone,

I've been scrubbing the internet for the last few hours and so far I haven't come across how to do this.

There are a lot of inertia expressions that people have written for position OR rotation. But I can't seem to find one that will give you a rotation inertia bounce based on say X keyframe motion. It seems like someone surely must have already written a code snippet to do this but I can't find one anywhere and I don't have the know how to modify an inertial script.

Imagine a stick accelerates from left to right, as it speeds up it bends backwards, then when it comes to a stop the rotation bounces forward then decays. Has anyone seen or have a script to do this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
