Expression Slider to control multiple keyframe values
on Mar 30, 2017 at 10:50:47 am

Hi all;

I'm trying to use a slider to control the value of two keyframes animating (just the x axis) scale of a layer.
So what i'm trying to do is:

First keyframe= 0 (or value)
Second keyframe= slider value
Third keyframe= slider value
Fourth Keyframe= 0 (or value).

My first attempt below;
Works beautifully for animating ON - but then how to animate off ?..Stuck.

Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
-Rob

t1 = key(1).time;
t2 = key(2).time;
v1 = 0;
v2 = thisComp.layer("CONTROL").effect("BODY Width")("Slider");
x= easeOut(time,t1,t2,v1,v2);
[x,value[1]];

For anyone who stumbles onto this;
This same issue was resolved by the benevolent Dan Ebberts on this thread:
