Change Layer Position using a Slider
on Feb 22, 2017 at 3:03:36 pm

Hello there guys, I'm trying to solve something but I can't figure out how to do it. I have a character that I'm rigging using DUIK.

I have a rigged arm and also a Torso that is an individual composition that works with a slider to change the view (sideview, back and front)
so I would like not only moving the shoulder pivot along the +X -X position but also using another slider to move the arm layer on top and behind the torso composition.

I would like to manipulate those layers to put the arm on top or behind the torso by using a slider. Is this possible?

No, you can't do anything like that with expressions. I think the best you could do would be to have a duplicate layer so there's one above and one below the torso, and use your slider to turn the opacity on for one and off for the other.
