Keyframing scale with expressions
on Aug 25, 2012 at 6:29:41 pm

Hi,

How do I keyframe scale - just one element, not both - using an expression wiggle?

I just want it to go bigger and smaller and not mishaped at the same time.

I'm not sure what you're asking (I don't get the part about keyframes)--but to wiggle the same amount in both dimensions, you could do this:

w = wiggle(1,100);
[w[0],w[0]]

Hi Dan,

Thanks. I'm trying to increase and decreases circle while maintaining a circle, rather than squashing and squeezing it too.

OK-so did I answer your question, or is there more to it?

Hi Dan,

I've put in what you wrote, but get an error.

Says:

After Effects warning: Expected: ]
Expression Disabled

Error occurred at line 2.
Comp: 'Radio'
Layer: 1 ('radio left speaker')
Property: 'Scale'
