Dan Ebberts Light Fall Off expression problem...

decay = .005;
noFalloff = 200;

L = thisComp.layer("Light 1");

d = length(L.transform.position,transform.position);
if (d < noFalloff){
value;
}else{
value/Math.exp((d - noFalloff)*decay);
}

I want to use Dan Ebberts Light Fall Off expression (http://www.motionscript.com/design-guide/falloff.html if you don't know it) to add a bit more depth to a graphic sting I'm making, but when I try and use it, I get the message:

"After Effects warning: undefined is not an object.
Error occurred at line 6.
Expression disabled."

Any ideas?

Which version of AE?

Try changing line 6 to this:

d = length(L.position,position);

That worked perfectly, thank you!

I'm on 6.5, my boss is stingy...

Also, slightly embarrassed that you answered it! Your site has helped me so much, it's very good :o)
