I've been broadcasting a few sports games in my free time and now I'm developping a streaming solution aiming sports. My goal is to provide a full easy-to-use tool called StrmR to capture, stream, edit scores and game events, rosters... almost whatever the sport is.
Some kind of Vmix for sports with CG and dynamic content loading.
Today StrmR is able to capture streams in HDMI/NDI (with frame grabber) udp/Rtmp streams, playback and audio content, handle and manage teams and rosters, provide dynamic overlays using html engine (witch means anyone can create its own interfaces) timeshifting/Replays, and manage scoring and game events on the fly using one single interface. And soon (i hope...) access scoring management using android app.
The project is surely on its way but I would need help understanding professionals needs.
If anyone would like to share his workflow : number of cams usually used, usage of virtual sets, of chromakeys, common broadcast resolution (is 1080p 30fps 4 cams on laptop enough ?)... that would be very nice.
For curious ones i can upload some pictures of my work ☺
