pavtube imedia converter question

I loaded a prores file into pavtube imedia converter and chose h.264 and audio as aac 48 khz and 320 kbps. After it was done converting I wanted to see if the data rates were what I selected, so I opened up the converted file in pavtube to see the properties and it said the audio data rate was 154 kbps. Why would it be 154 if I selected 320?

I wanted to see if this was accurate so I opened it up in mpeg streamclip and clicked show stream info and it also said 154 kbps, but it also said .001 khz instead of 48 khz. Does anyone know why? Thanks.

Could be a metadata issue (falsely reporting the data rate) or it could or it could just be a bad convertor utility.

You may want to try with something like Handbrake which is free but used by many professionals.

You may to check your encodes in VLC or maybe the free version of Telestream Switch.
