iTunes Video Specs

I am using Compressor to compress two music videos to be sold on iTunes.
(Master files are 8bit SD 720 x 486)

I'm having trouble finding Apple's video specs for iTunes.
I assume that H.264 is best but what about data rate, frame size and file size limits?
Anyone know the drill?

Apple usually ask for 640x480 15Mb/s MPEG-2 - They do the 'proper' encoding at their end.

Everybody I know who supplies iTunes with content has received detailed instructions, not only on the specification of the videos they wish to receive but also how they should be delivered.

Please post back saying what solved your problem. It could help others, and saying 'thanks' is free!

There are only a handful of facilities authorised to encode and upload video content for the itunes store, assuming you have contracts with Apple to do so. Bitmax in LA are the guys I use to supply my content. Their preferred delivery method is on Digi Beta or HD Cam.
