After Effects CS4 Stops Rendering
by Drew Emery on Apr 28, 2011 at 1:53:12 am
So I have this project, around 4 minutes long in After Effects CS4 32-bit using a PC. And every time I render it stops at a certain point without giving me an error message. At first it stopped at a point where I was using a copy of the original clip, with changed color correction. So I deleted that, and it went on fine. Now it is stopping at a different frame about halfway through where I'm using stock footage from Action Essentials.
I've been through these boards numerous times and have done everything to try and change this problem. The total After Effects memory usage is 1.2 gb with 2gb isntalled RAM. I am rendering this as a Quicktime movie as a PNG, with 720 quality.
The harddrive I'm saving this to has 60gb of RAM, and I just cannot figure out what the problem is.

I'm really new here, but i had same problem sometime ago, what i was did, render sequence by several parts,
at Render queue - Best Settings - frame rate - Custome
There always you can define custom start frame & end frame
Hope this help. I'm sorry if i being so basic here. :)
