Null display in composition window...
on Apr 15, 2011 at 11:06:35 am

When I create a new null, the comp window displays the edges in the colour that it's been assigned. However, when you drag a pre-created null from the project window, there's no coloured box around the edges.
Is there a switch somewhere to turn this type of display on and off?

hope someone can help,
many thanks in advance,

I've done what you've done in the past, and frankly, I've never even bothered to figure out why AE does that. It probably has something to do wit the fact that you find null objects in the Solids folder in the project window.

But I don't let that conundrum bother me. I simply duplicate a null currently in the comp and give it a new name; it's easy to reset all the null's properties. After that, you're good to go.
