Hi,

I'm creating a credit roll in After Effects. The first twenty seconds will be a one column roll, followed by fifteen seconds of a two column roll, followed again by a one column roll.

Is there a way to do this in one text box, or do I have to create separate text boxes (in order to format the one column roll and the two column rolls) and time the rolls so that they appear as one?

Thanks for any help,
John

I would suggest you make different text boxes. But it'll be very easy to animate. Just parent them together.

I actually like to use premiere pro for credits. The reason is that it's really easy to time the credits to end exactly at the end of a song. No keyframes necessary. Just an alternative.
