I've got a Maltannon 3D layer extrude working on a shape layer (made up for several mask paths to outline text) and I'm trying to animate a series of *LAYER* masks on the same layer to reveal diff parts of it to animate on.....
Obviously I can lock and hide locked masks I don't need to clear canvas space so I can see what I'm doing, but can't seem to find a way to lock the actual masks that make up the 'contents' of my shape layer. Each of those masks only has an eyeball and twirl down only reveals mask path. IT's making it very difficult to see what I'm doing and also keep selecting shape masks by accident.
Any ideas guys?
I would do the mask roto on a diff layer, but for boring long-winded reasons I won't go into, that won't work!
