Dimensions (Width) changing after render?

hello everyone, im having a problem that i know is probably so simple to correct yet i can't find the solution.

the width of my video is changing after i render my comp. i have a MOV file that i added some animated text to and when i render the final product it is squeezing the width for some reason.


please, any help would be great.

I can't see your jpg, but are you familiar with pixel aspect ratio?
The quicktime player usually displays movies in square pixels,
If you were working with non-square pixels in AE, and had Pixel Aspect Ratio correction turned on,
the width of images in the render would appear to change.

nice, that was the problem, i had square pixels turned on for the video in a pre_comp, and not my render options.

seems to have fixed the problem. thank you so much.
