i am new to after effects so forgive me if this is a silly question but here we go..

i am working in 3d space and have lights facing 2 pictures the same
is there a way to make it so one picture gets the light effects and the other one does not?

this is the easiest way i can ask the question if anyone can help me out i will give them a free cookie

Select the picture which should not respond to lighting and tap the A key twice to reveal its material options properties. Toggle "Accepts lights" off.
