Cannot see control points on new lights

I'm sure this is just a simple mis-typed keyboard command, but suddenly none of the lights I place are visible in the composition window.

The lighting effects are visible, things are lit, and I can move the lights around by scrubbing their values in the timeline, but I cannot see their control points to drag them around manually. Doesn't matter whether it is spot, parallel, etc. I've tried creating a new comp with just a solid and a light, moving nothing, same problem, I cannot see any control points for the light. I've looked all around to see if they were simply placed out of view, but that is not the case.

Interestingly, in multi-view mode I can see the control points in the front view, but not in front-view in a single-view comp window. This was working fine up until a little while ago.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

It sounds like you've accidentally hidden layer controls in the composition viewer.

Press Cmd-Shift-H to toggle layer controls.

I knew it was something simple like that, thank you very much!
