I have a project set to 1080p at 29.76, thanks to Adobe Media Encoder. I'll import into after effects and check the comp settings and it is set like it should be. But when i render to .wmv, it changes it back to 24 fps. Any ideas? Please help, thanks.

They're probably rounding off the fractions in the frame rate. I wouldn't put such a misrepresentation past those Microsoft guys...

...nor would I put it past the Apple guys, for that matter.

When you render it to .wmv, what s/w are you using to check the frame rate?

[Trey Yoder] "I have a project set to 1080p at 29.76, thanks to Adobe Media Encoder."

Whaaaa? I missed that tidbit the first time.

In NTSC-land, there is no such frame rate as 29.76. There's the normal video frame rate of 29.97, and there's the frame rate for film, 23.976.

"29.76"... 29.97... 23.976... you can understand my confusion. Which frame rate do you actually mean?

Oops, i made a mistake. Yea, i meant 29.97! And when i finish rendering i'll look at the properties of the file and it will be 24. And it cuts the file size down too. I did however try using a different format (.avi) that fixed the problem but i want to render it in a .wmv, due to the size.

Don't use AE to do it. Use Adobe Media Encoder; it's much better for compression.
