Hi there.

I'm working with hand-drawn animation brought into aftereffects as png image sequences at 12 fps. When I export the movie, the sequence flickers. I tried changing its frame rate to 24 fps, using each image twice, but it looks the same. Is there a filter or anything that could help eliminate the flickering effects? any suggestions?

thanks in advance for your help

Are there any thin lines on the drawings? or are there lots of thin lines close together?

Try adding a 0.5 -1 pixel blur to the drawing and see if that helps...this normally works for me.

Try the Effect > Blur & Sharpen > Reduce Interlace Flicker effect. Works better than the older blurring solutions. It's one of the few things that the old Premiere had that is useful in AE.
