Hello Colleagues,

Is there a way to link a layers position data to the position of a mask? I have a feeling someone is going to say use a shape layer. I know how to do that, but was curious if what I ask can be done somehow?

thx,

Robyn

I'm only half the thing I say I am, the other half are me.

Good news! You can do it. There's a script that will give you the position of each mask vertex on a layer. It sounds like it's just what you need.

Sorry, I don't know its name, but I bet you'd find it at AEEnhancers. Perhaps some more helpful soul will actually have a link.

There are a couple of possible solutions at aescripts.com. http://aescripts.com/trackerviz/
And Mathias Mohl may have one or more solutions.
