I took about ten stills from Google Earth and created a zoom from deep space to nearly street level in AE. My question is, is this a violation of any sort of copyright? I got this from the weather.go website:

Google Maps and Google Earth map information and photographic imagery are used under license by Google. NOAA/National Weather Service data presented using Google Maps/Google Earth are in the public domain and is also made available in open standard KML/KMZ format.

But I want to be sure. Anyone have any knowledge about this?

Yes, if you use it without having a license on the Pro version of Google Earth, it is illegal. Check Google to find out more about this version.

I am aware that Google Earth rules state that you must use the pro version to obtain the images and you must also display the atribution information, on screen as you see the images. This would make the earth zoom effect very messy.

On that note does anyone have suggestions on where images can be bought so that I do not have to provide copyright information on screen?
