Yikes! Any way to disable Speech Search text boxes on AE timeline?

I loaded up some footage in AE that had been Speech Searched in Premiere. And the resultant text boxes all over the comp timeline make editing impossible!

I've been searching for a way to turn this off in AE. Any advice?

What happens if you go back to Premiere, turn the speech search off, and re-export for use in AE? You could always try this on a duplicated Premiere project file, leaving the original alone, if you want.

You have the option turned on to convert temporal XMP metadata to layer markers. You can turn that off; see this page.
