I've built a "2.5"D house in Afx. the various walls are made in their own comp, then combined in another comp to form the house, then the house is brought into another comp. In this last comp is a camera move that trucks in from a great distance, and during this truck in some parts of the house disappear then reappear. Any thoughts on what might be happening here? Thanks,

Craig

first, make sure that opengl is disabled in preferences>preview, uncheck the box for use opengl.

i've also seen this happen if you have two layers that are on the same 3d plane in a comp. if you have layers on the same plane, try offsetting their positions slightly (like 1 pixel, or even a fraction of a pixel).

Thanks guys, Open GL was indeed the culprit.

The most common offender in such a case is using Open GL acceleration. It really isn't going to help much, and very often messes things up.
