Hi there!

I am spending a few good hours on trying to resolve this iisue:
I have long piece of footage (20 Min.) in HD (1920) which I am just trying to make a simple proxy out of... (Nothing special or new, QT in low low resolution).
No effects or any other applications on a pretty strong 8GB RAM/CS5/GTX 470 Machine.

My problem is that AE will crash or suddenly stop the render...

the last crash was After Effects Crash in progress or something of that like, but the error earlier was just a crash.

I hope this is enough info for now, and that someone can please help me figure out a way to make that proxy happen!

Based on the information, I'd say that if you're using Open GL to accelerate renders, turn it off and leave it off.
