I've been looking around for an animation plugin for After Effects, something that would allow me to add simple motion effects such as bounce to keyframes without having to get into expressions. Does anyone know if something like this is available? I've tried Ease and Whizz which has helped but hasn't been able to give me the level of accuracy I need. Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks.

Keith -

Here's a link to a set of scripts which will do most of the heavy lifting for you - I've found them very useful:

Thanks for the reply. I've tried Ease and Whizz and it works great for some things but what I need is a greater level of control than it currently provides. I've been hunting around for an alternative but with no success.

Cheers.

Sorry Keith - you mentioned that in your original post, and I breezed right over it. I think that you're going to have to bite the bullet and get into Expressions. There are so many sites out there with pre-made elements and motions, that it shouldn't be too hard to find a nugget from which you can build what you need. Good luck with the search!

This should do exactly what you want:

Good luck!

Thanks for the suggestions, might have to give expressions a go it seems.

Does Twitch cover things like motion effects? I though it was more about 'grunging' up footage and adding distortion?

Thanks anyway.

Twitch pretty much does what its name implies :P.

Here's a demo that I used Twitch for:

When you use it with a text layer, make sure you change the mode to "expand."
