How to apply animator or skew to a nontext layer
on Sep 22, 2010 at 5:15:31 am

I am using a simple text animation present called bad reception on a text layer. I really like the way it moves and behaves. I want to mimic that on a photoshop layer that I have in the timeline. I can copy and paste the position keyframes for the movement, but under one of the animators for the text layer, it has a skew option. I'm not able to copy the skew keyframes from the text layer to the photoshop layer. Can I add skew to a nontext layer? In addition, can you add an animator to a layer that is not text? Thanks.

text animators are only for text layers.

but there is an effect call cc slant that will effect any layer in a similar way as the skew property effects text.
